Five Good Things

+ A signed (to me!) copy of Spook Country; a birthday gift from a friend of ours. Amazing. And, so far, a great read.

+ An unfortunate set of circumstances that nevertheless made room for me to see H once again in his purest form; as perhaps the kindest, most generous man on Earth. I could not be prouder or more grateful to be his wife.

+ A day spent with my best friend, getting a massage, watching a great movie, and eating junk food.

+ Friends who don't give up on me despite my unresponsiveness of late.

+ Luke, saying, I lala, Mama. Hock? (I love you, Mama. Hug?)
