I guess I was going to write something funny relating to the best things Bret says on Flight of the Conchords? I can't imagine why else I would have created the list I found in the back of my work notebook today:

2. Awesome
3. Shush
Oh, and in case you're wondering -- I came home last night after work, school, and recording, and passed out cold on the couch. When I woke up, it was no longer Tuesday. Sorry, NaBloPoMo.

It's "Flip" - which along with "Awesome" and "Choice" is indeed one of my favorite exclamatives.
We do struggle to make out "i" sound distinguishable from a "u" sound.
Oh, I know it's "flip" -- thank God I spelled it the other way or I'd have had no clue at all that it was even about Bret! When I worked with the aforementioned Boss Man from New Zealand, I got into the habit of spelling various words phonetically in his accent. It has stuck with me, as has saying "crep" rather than "crap" and other such things (just copying his accent). I do hope I've not offended; I have a nearly unreasonable love for the accent, the culture, and obviously the country. :)
