Minutia Bite #1

It's one syllable in David Bowie's "The Bewlay Brothers," but the way he pronounces the final word in the line "With our backs on the arch" just does something to me. He sounds like he's taking a bite out of something delicious and painful.

I'll have to look that one up. I've been enjoying "Heathen" for a few years now. I didn't expect too. But damn, he's such a mature, subtle artist and he does know how to phrase a line. I'd love to hear him narrate a novel.

Like the new header. And the bio. I love knowing what people do.

Michael-

He does indeed know how to phrase a line! Something about "Heathen" makes me sad; I can't listen to it very often. Maybe that he seems so rueful on a couple of the tracks and it's colored my view?

Anyway, I'm happy to email you the track, if you like. Let me know! Thanks for the kind words about the recent housekeeping changes. I'm glad you like.
